About Me
I’m the daughter of a career Air Force officer and a stay-at-home mom, so moving was simply part of life growing up. Our family of six, including my parents, my sister, two brothers, and me, lived on several military bases over the years. Constantly being the “new kid” taught me early how to connect with people, ask questions, and build relationships quickly.
My parents used to joke that I was the “eyes and ears of the neighborhood,” always reporting back on what was happening around us. What started as childhood curiosity eventually evolved into something much bigger: a love for storytelling and sharing information that helps others understand the world around them.
Looking back, it’s no surprise I followed that passion into a career in television news and later into media and public relations. At my core, I’ve always been drawn to uncovering stories, communicating clearly, and helping important messages reach the people who need to hear them.
Simply put, I’m a storyteller.
Why I Do This Work
Clear communication matters, especially when the stakes are high.
After years of working in newsrooms, interviewing leaders, covering major stories, and later serving as a spokesperson during high-pressure situations, I’ve seen firsthand how the right message, delivered the right way, can shape public perception, build trust, and protect a reputation.
I also know how challenging it can be for leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations to communicate effectively when the spotlight suddenly turns their way.
That’s why I do this work.
Today, I help individuals and organizations navigate the media landscape, refine their message, and communicate with clarity and confidence, whether they’re sharing their story, managing a difficult situation, or stepping into the public eye for the first time.
At the heart of it all, I believe powerful communication and authentic storytelling can make a meaningful difference.
Career Experience:
CNBC Reporter & Anchor
I had the opportunity to travel the world reporting on consumer and personal finance news. During my time at CNBC, I interviewed everyone from everyday people navigating difficult financial situations to Fortune 500 CEOs and industry thought leaders. I also had the chance to sit down with notable figures like Geddy Lee of Rush and musician Bruce Hornsby. It was an incredible experience that shaped my approach to journalism and storytelling.

Writing
At heart, I’m a reporter and storyteller. I’ve always been drawn to the stories of remarkable people, trailblazers, innovators, and changemakers who are making a positive impact in the world. Sharing those stories, and helping others discover and communicate their own, is something I truly love.
I’m also the co-author of High Flight: Stories of an Air Force Fighter Pilot, the military memoir of my late father, Colonel Lester Romine, USAF. Together, we documented his incredible journey, from the son of a humble Alabama cotton farmer to flying fighter jets in Korea and Vietnam, and ultimately finishing his highly decorated career at the Pentagon.
Writing that book with my dad was a deeply meaningful experience, and his story remains a powerful reminder of perseverance, service, and dedication. He will always be my own American hero.
In addition to the book, I’ve written articles highlighting compelling stories and trends, including a piece for New Jersey Monthly during the COVID-19 pandemic titled “Clean Out, Make Money: Join Jersey’s Boom in Online Auctions” (March 2021). You can find additional writing samples on my LinkedIn profile.
Family
I live in Northern New Jersey with my husband, Patrick, founder and CEO of a medical device company, and our two young adult children. While my career has given me many rewarding opportunities, the role I value most is being a mom to our kids, it’s truly the best job in the world.
We’re also a family of dog lovers. Over the years, we’ve rescued and adopted several dogs, and currently have two very loved pups at home.
